Kamal Kabuliwala

Artistic Director of Kabuliwala Theatre, Storytelling and Events Management Company, Kamal Kabuliwala was counted among the top most performance storytellers of India between 2015 and 2018. He is a performance storyteller, a multi-linguist actor, a theatre director, literary translator, lyricist and a published author. Active in the theatre industry since 1999, Kamal Pruthi is popularly known as Kamal Kabuliwala. As a solo stage artist Kamal has done over 350 stage performances in 20 cities of India and 6 countries and acted in over 71 ads in 13 languages. Kamal has so far directed 10 plays in 17 languages and has written over 35 songs in 3 languages. He has represented India internationally in 6 countries including Germany, Poland, Bangladesh, Hungary and other countries through 15 international scholarships, fellowships and art residencies and has received 4 international awards. For his artistic works, he has been interviewed over 150 times by biggest medias of India, Dubai and Afghanistan. Kamal has been organizing biggest summer camps for children of Delhi/NCR since 2015.
