Kamal Kabuliwala

Kamal Kabuliwala was counted among the top most folk format performance storytellers of India between 2015 and 2019. Active in the theatre industry since 1999, Kamal Pruthi is popularly known as Kamal Kabuliwala. As a solo stage artist Kamal has done over 350 stage performances in 20 cities of India and 6 countries and has acted in over 77 digital ads in 13 languages. Kamal has so far directed 10 plays in 17 languages and has written over 35 songs in 3 languages. Kamal has represented India internationally in 6 countries including Germany, Poland, Bangladesh, Hungary and other countries through 15 international scholarships, fellowships and art residencies and has received 4 international awards. For his artistic works, he has been interviewed over 150 times by biggest medias of India, Dubai and Afghanistan. Artistic Director of Kabuliwala Theatre, Storytelling and Events Management Company, Kamal Kabuliwala has been organizing biggest summer camps for children of Delhi/NCR since 2015. Kamal has written a book titled Shrimanji and has translated 13 plays. As a children's workshoppper Kamal is a faculty at NSD's Theatre in Education Company.
